I bought theses cute portucala plants at OSH but no one seems to know how to grow them. Do u dead head them? Do they do well in pots? Are they perennials/annuals? When they no longer flower does the plant stay green. They r so cute and thats about all I know about them besides them
wanting full sun.

I had a dryer once and the door was broken, you opened the door and the dryer kept turning and it was great! The clothes would go around and keep moving and be nice an unwrinkled as I pulled each piece out. My question is, how do I break the door on this dryer? It is safe?

We already have table cloths provided by venue, but they are plain white and not very attractive. Instead of renting expensive table cloths we thought about overlays. Or, at least, I think that's what they are called. We are looking for something colorful to place on 60" round banquet table besides the centerpiece. I don't know what I am looking for either an overlay or I think they call it a square cut out?????? Any suggestions on what to get and where to rent them would be awesome. Thanks.

Sometimes like walking on a dirt road or forest, these things, plant like seeds or something start sticking or attaching to your socks or pants. And so when you get home, to pry they off they are like velcro and are rather hard and sharp. They are like made of wood. I see it on dogs and cats after they've been outside too.

What are those little things called?

Does anyone here know what causes it and how I could fix it? It's tilted properly so water drains to the backside and is doing that well, but it spits water out the front ever since it became so hot and humid a couple of days ago. Any help would greatly appreciated. Thanx!

This is the first time living on my own (having to pay all bills associated with running a house). I just got my electricity bill, and thought it was a bit high, so I thought I would put it to Yahoo answers.

I live with a roommate in a 700 sq ft 1-bedroom. We both work from 8-8. When we leave, nothing gets left on (no lights, no A/C). Our heat & hot water is gas-based, as is the stove & range. We use CLUs (13watts each) for lights, and there are only 5 at that (1 in bedroom, 1 in bathroom, 3 in kitchen). When not in the kitchen, those 3 lights go out, and at bed everything is off. We haven't turned on the A/C yet, as we just open the windows and turn on the ceiling fan in the bedroom and that is usually enough. No TV yet & no computer.

My bill said I used 250 kwH in a span of 14 days. I thought a normal family of 4 in a 2000 sq ft home uses something like 2k kwH per year, and we're on track to use 6k kwH per year at this rate.

Seems high for a gas-based apartment?

Here is a picture of the wild roses, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Prairie_Rose . There are about 100 of them outside growing along the road and in the ditch. How can I transplant them into my yard? They are blooming right now, I transplanted 2 a couple of weeks ago, but they are not doing to good. They are alive, but are not blooming. What is the best way to transplant them and keep them alive and blooming?
