Grey duct tape is my choice.
I can never find the start of that clear stuff when it sticks to itself on the roll.

Duct tape works for me.

depends on whats its for, usually duct tape, if looks do not count, and i need strength

duct tape. it is much stronger. and it will last longer outside

Clear plastic, you can actually see the thing thats being wrapped.
