It's like this one:

http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images/view?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Dsteel%2Bbeam%26toggle%3D1%26cop%3Dmss%26ei%3DUTF-8%26fr%3Dyfp-t-501%26b%3D181&w=360&h=360&imgurl=img.alibaba.com%2Fphoto%2F51233086%2FI_Beam_Steel_Bar.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fnbsteel.en.alibaba.com%2Fproduct%2F50230399%2F51233086%2FMerchant_Bars%2FI_Beam_Steel_Bar.html&size=8.5kB&name=I_Beam_Steel_Bar.jpg&p=steel+beam&type=jpeg&no=181&tt=17,053&oid=a00d68a3a10b2310&ei=UTF-8&src=p

Oxyfuel takes a long time to warm up the beam and the finish is awful.

Any suggestions to make this cut?

The beam is not under load, the cut is needed to make it fit in the room where it will be welded.

I bought a 5200 BTU Simplicity A/C(by danby) from Canadian tire. For the first 3 days it worked fine and it dripped a LOT. Then it began to make this sputtering noise, and stopped dripping. When I looked inside there was tons of water, but it was no longer dripping. The noise is loud, sputtering, rattling and the other people in my building are not amused. I've read other threads that say yes it should drip, others that say no it should not because it keeps the unit cool.I cannot see how this is possible because its so loud. We took the unit out of the window and tilted it really far back, and it SPILLED water from where the fins are. But its impossible to tilt the unit that much in the window. There are no other significant drain holes that I see. Please let me know your thoughts.
Its 45 with the humidex here today, help!

I am really into permaculture and what to make the most of my back yard. I have a large shed that makes a shade area behind it of up to two metres wide. Any idea of what veg/herb/fruit tree will best suit, or any ideas on how to reflect light into this spot from the facing fence? (the grass grows really well here!)
I also have a 1 m wide area down the side of the shed that is also in 100% shade I wouldnt mind using up if anyone can think of something? Cheers

I accidentally left a load of washed towels in the washing machine still wet. They stayed there 2 days, so I dried them in the dryer,(DUH!), and they STUNK to High Heaven! I have ran them through the wash twice using hot water, extra detergent and fabric softner even tried a little diluted bleach. I can still detect a faint "sour" smell. Are they ruined?

We are flipping a house and the panel box has those old screw in fuses. One electrician wanted $1750.00 to update to a new one and that is not really in our budget. Why can't we just take out the panel box and clamp all of the wires for the house to the big wires coming into the house? I could save a ton of profit and if the new owners preferred a new panel box they could have it installed later.

Do you honestly feel that it takes 'something' special within a person to grow several varieties of plants successfully?
Or is it basically just simply planting, watering properly ect?

Any explanations for this and especially useful tips to stop or improve this problem would be much appreciated!!
The apt. I moved into seems to share air ducts with other apartments...the most putrid smells are pumped through the ducts (and I mean EVERY SINGLE VENT in the apartment blows out this disgusting air). The odor seems to be CIGARETTE SMOKE and cooking smells...except it smells like a meal gone terribly wrong--like burnt meat and potatoes. It permeates the carpet, linens, air etc. and cannot be healthy to breathe.

Please please help me with this--what is causing it, how can I stop it, and can/should my landlord do anything? Thanks for your polite and helpful replies!

My fiance and I got a dryer for our engagement. I've been placing clothes in there and they come out with terrible static cling. We're currently in Australia, and I've been looking for dryer sheets here, like Bounce, in the USA, and I've found nothing in the stores. Are there any tricks of the trade to keep clothes less staticky without dryer sheets?
