Hi, I am the female left brained that doesn't know how to do decorating. But I found debbie mumm borders, for the walls and got all excited and decided to use fabrics and all but then as I searched it appears to me that she is "passe" and this is only a problem because I can't locate fabrics etc. to match the borders. Am I correct here ?

Just need your opinion for people who has a pond which they have installed. I am going to be putting a pond in my backyard but I'm not sure of what I should buy. Should I buy a liner or a pre-formed pond? Please tell me what you would prefer and why. Need to get pro's and con's and I'm just confused. Thanks for your input!

It is 10 years old. From time to time over the years we notice the food getting warm and discover the fan stopped.
Starting it by hand it will run and then apparently continue to run okay. It seems like it speeds up and slows down, too when you open the door or put the back cover tightly on.
We have cleaned thoroughly under the refrigerator and the entire compressor/fan area. The fan motor is sealed (no oil hole that i could see, anyway) i put a little oil around the shaft.
Is the fan faulty, or is there some other control sensor or something regulating the speed and operation of the fan?
I can easily replace the fan, but if it is controlled by some other electronic part or something thats malfunctioning i'd rather buy a new refrigerator.
What should i do?

Even if I haven't had any fruit in the house for weeks and have seen no fruit flies at all, if I bring home some various fruits and put them in a bowl on the table, the next morning I have fruit flies. Can I cover them with a glass cover or will that trap too much moisture? Is there a screen type cover on the market?

I believe a brush would drip when painting overhead and am concerned about getting good coverage on the ridged surface. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

We have just planted three new trees. They are doing great, however, I have just noticed that they are all covered in japanese beatles. It there any home remedy or anything that works to kill, get rid of, or prevent them from destoying our new trees? In that past we have used those traps, but they only seemed to make them worse by attracting more to our yard. Please help!!

I moved into a new house that supposedly has new carpet. Everytime I vaccuum there's fuzzies that appear and I have to sweep them to remove them. Does this mean the new owner bought real cheap carpet or is there something I can do to stop it?

Air coming out of vents is 20 degrees lower than outside air. Thermostat set at 71. Temp in house is bouncing between 74 and 75. Outside temp is 90. We've never had problems before this year. Had a freon charge. Turned it on yesterday evening. Temp was 86 in house. Fan outside has been running for 16 hours. Changed filter. Cleaned coils. What could be wrong? Thanks in advance!

Not the automatic vaccum cleaner thing. But the net you use to clean bugs out of your pool. Is there an actual name for that?

I live in a basement apartment...and the earwigs are horrible. Plus my kids are terrified of them and run screaming from them. Does anyone know of an effective and SAFE homemade earwig killer or anything to help with them at the very least. Something with out bleach too..so I can spray along the walls with carpeting.

They are peer yellow only can see them with a piece of white paper. They are in the direct sun and they do not damge the lawn. They jump and you see the grass blades moving. They are so small no visible bites but keep you itching when outside.

I have a clear, well, it's SUPPOSED to be clear glass shower door in my master bathroom. It has what I imagine as soap scum caked on it and none of the so-called soap scum cleaners seem to take it off. I've tried Windex, Scrubbing Bubbles and Tilex to try to get at it...nothing will work! I was hoping someone out here in Yahooland might have some secret squirell home remedy that might solve my problem. Any takers?

Thanks,
AuntB!
