Everything is fresh white. I dont mind white but I would love to put some bold colors in it. My S.O. is talking tan and beige. Bleh
My living room is 14x25' and the carpet is dark grey. Ideas please? I love that steel blue color but I need some light colors too.

Here is an example of the deep blue steel I am talking about. Ignore the text and check out the color

I have a solenoid valve just like this http://www.globalspec.com/ImageRepository/ProductAreaImages/2007/4/903/large.jpg and its rated 120 VAC/26VA (3 prongs, one for ground) . I also have a horizontal level switch for liquid like this http://germes-online.com/direct/dbimage/50279527/Level_Switch.jpg with rating 120 VAC/0.28 A (the switch will connect when the water level reach the target) normally open.

How can I wire them so that when the level reached the valve will close and water will not flow into the tank? The switch is inside the tank and the valve connecting the pipe for feed water. Thanks

I purchased an outdoor gazebo with a canvas top. It sits near some trees, and a couple days ago in a thunderstorm a small limb pierced a hole in canvas. I know I can patch it but it's off white and has weather stains on it. I had an idea to recover the frame with something other than canvas, maybe a permanent roof, but can't come up with any ideas on what kind of material to use. Don't have much frame to attach anything to so may have to add to existing frame. Any of you got any ideas on what I can use that won't cost more than the gazebo cost? It's my santuary for reading and me time so do appreciate any ideas! Thanks!!

I ordered a patio screen door from Home Depot & can't figure out how to adjust it on the track. The old one had a screw on each side at the bottom & the new does not have this & no instructions. There seems to be screws in side the frame part. One at the bottom & one at the top on each side. How do you adjust these so the screen door will slide properly.

It says there are 2 ways to install it on the outside of the box but only gives instructions on the inside to install it with the down rod. I want it so it is close to the ceiling b/c our ceilings aren't very high.

I am going to change the carpet of my newly purchased house to laminate floor. I discovered that the underlayment of the old carpet was in pretty good condition. My question is: Can I just remove the carpet, but leave the foam sheet there, and then put the laminate floor planks directly on top of it.

I have a few cherry trees in my yard at my new house, and I know that it is cherry season, but my cherries are so tiny, and a little bitter. The seller of the house said that it was an edible cherry tree! How do cherries get bigger?

I just snipped my garlic tops (you know the curly ones) from my veggie garden so the bulbs can grow better, and I know you can use the tops, but do I have to use the tops right away or how do I store them? I have a camping trip coming up and there will be lots of people July 6, we are thinking of having activities for the kids with these, will they last that long?

I went to home depot, lowes, menards and they all have a similar install fee of $500 to install the sliding patio door. Why is this so expensive? Also, have people had good experiences with built in blinds on a sliding patio door?
