I have an old porcelain bathtub and kitchen sink. i really like them, but the are need of glazing. can i do this myself? if so where can i get the supplies i will need?

A professional can do a good job at this but most of us others cannot.

If the tub and sink are cast iron and rusted, it's not recommended. Glazing looks good for about a year. If it's not done properly it will "check" or crack. There are places that do reglazing for a reasonable price. Best left to the pros.

Hi there is a paint you can buy but it comes in 1-3oz tubes!

I would suggest just calling around or asking friends & co-workers if they have done this & if they can suggest someone.

A good company should be able to reglaze your washroom in less than 5 days.

There are products for doing this at Home Centers. Be aware, the preparation is the key to a good result and it is not easy. Do not think it will look or be as good as a new product. The original finish was baked on.

Yes, you can do this... but it is ridiculous to do them yourself, as it requires major equipment which you will have to either rent or buy. Nowadays, there are companies that will do this for you and the cost is no longer prohibitive as it used to be.
