I have 2 children under age 5 a husband and a large breed dog. I vacuum everyday to keep down dust/dirt since my children play on the floor... I also do most of my major cleaning at night while my husband gets the kids ready for bed... Then I wipe countertops,sweep/mop kitchen floor, load the dishwasher and straighten the livingroom.. I wipe the bathroom down with disenfectant wipes before I go to bed.. Also about once a month I pour bleach down all my drains (basement, toilets, and sinks) I also run really hot water in the tub and add about 1 c. bleach to the water.. The next morning swish the toilets and flush (b4 use or toxic gas forms) and I drain the tub... Everything is clean.... I also put baking soda on the carpets and leave that overnight to pick up any loose dirt and eliminate odor.. I keep the kids toys in baskets that we pick up at night before bath/bed.... I also start a load of laundry at night and run the dishwasher on time delay... Whew...... I stick to my routine for the most part..... Good luck

Clean is in the eye of the beholder. No, really, it is. Right now my beds aren't made and there's a few dishes in the sink. Is my house dirty? well, five people live here: Me, my husband, my 6 year old son, my month old daughter, and my roommate. I do all the cleaning, because I'm home on maternity leave. If I were going to pick up everything as it happened, I would never sit down, so, I clean during the day, during baby's naptimes, and when I'm done, I'm done. any new messes can wait till tomorrow. When I was working, and what I will probably do when I go back to work, is devote one of my 2 days off to cleaning house. otherwise, I pick up what I can as I go along, but if everyone else doesn't, I catch it during that one day a week. this usually means my house is spotless for about 1 day, mostly clean for 2 days after that, and the next 3 days till cleaning day it looks, well, lived in. Is that bad? I don't think so. After all, it IS lived in. I'd rather spend my time living my life than cleaning my house. Don't stress. As long as it's safe for your child and not actually a health hazard you're fine. (I just came from babysitting for a friend; If you think it's bad now, you should see what it's like when there are two kids old enough to run around.)

I keep a small recipe box in my kitchen. I have the days of the week listed on separate tab cards in it. I have all of my daily, and weekly, cleaning jobs, written on regular recipe cards and distributed in the box under different days.
On Monday, I take out all of the tasks for the day, and as I finish them, I put them back in the box under "Monday".
I do the same on Tuesday, and so on.
I only spend 20 minutes, at the most, on each job. If it takes more than that, I have the cards in 2 or 3 different day slots.
I love this system. It makes chores more like a game, And everything stays clean, on a rotational basis. And because I only allow my self 20 minutes on each chore, it doesn't feel like I spend all of my time at home cleaning.
I came up with this plan, because I have a full-time job with lots of overtime, and I wanted to see if I could organize my time better at home, like I do at my job.
It works great for me, maybe it can for you!
Hope this helps!

Well Belinda, being a mom of 5 kids ages 18,16,11,10 and 7 and us having three dogs, it is hard but we manage to keep the house pretty nice. One of our main house rules is to clean up after yourself. We have a calendar chore chart. Everyone is expected to help around the house and pick up after themselves. We only deep clean the house once a week. I use a Lysol Kitchen spray to keep the kitchen sparkling clean and ready to cook in. I use swifter dusters and swifter mops. It makes cleaning more simple.I try to keep clutter to a bare minimum and everything has a "home". We use storage bins and tote boxes with lids. I go through the mail and papers everyday and shred up what we don't need. We also use file cabinets. Hope this helps.

We've to do dusting regularly as there's a playground beside our home. As well as we clean the whole house once in a week...........but natural if the house is clean it looks organized, automatically.

Omg, I am soo not the one to be giving advice about this kinda thing. However...
What I do is this: I try not to feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of things that need to be done. I do what I can to get a handful of things done each day (that is, a handful of extra things, other than the regular stuff like child care, laundry, dishes, dusting, vacuuming and sweeping/ mopping, etc.)

If you do this, then you will eventually get it all done. It might take awhile, but as they say, "slow and steady wins the race."

good luck and God bless ^.^

Pick up after myself
Clean up after cooking or making any kind of mess
Throw a load of clothes in the wash everyday
Don't leave your clothes laying around where you took them off
Make up the bed as soon as I get up
Ask everyone that lives under the same roof as me to do the same thing
Make a mess, clean it up

anything you going to use or read it or what ever, after using it, straight away. place it back after cleaning or dusting it.
so you don't have to do double job. do not let it be laying,
& say, I'll put it later, then you'll forget to place it back.
You 1st have to plan or make a time table, to do the
cleaning up. Just lke I do on Mondays I do my laundry.
on tesdays ironing, wesndays dusting all room, thrusdays
vacuming. Fridays shopping , saturday rest, & so on.

Routine. Really, do certain things at certain times of the day or week. You'll get used to doing it that way and it becomes a breeze.
