Does anyone here know what causes it and how I could fix it? It's tilted properly so water drains to the backside and is doing that well, but it spits water out the front ever since it became so hot and humid a couple of days ago. Any help would greatly appreciated. Thanx!

Verify that if there is a drain hole in the back, it is clear of mud and debris. It may be on the bottom, or on the lower side of the pan in the rear. If you do not have drains, do not drill any holes, as it was engineered to do the job without them. Verify that the outdoor fan is blowing, and that your filter and indoor coil are clean. A little water will clear this up. You might also adjust the temperature up a little bit as well.

First the unit should be tilted towards outside so that the water drains outside, next if that is done then the drain line from the evap to the back is clogged. Take the cover off and gently spray water and clean the entire unit. That should do.

Because of the humidity your machine is working harder to maintain a cool temp. The coils are forming ice and with the fan running it is defrosting turning the ice to water and blowing it out your vents. If you can handle the heat for a bit dont have the cooler running as cold. By the way its 10 degrees centigrade and raining here in OZ.

Either the unit is tilted forward or the coils are freezing due to low refrigerant. Good luck
