That's the one time I really hate screws.
When they are messed up, it's hard to remove what they where attaching.

Elbow grease buddy. Get after it. Don't hurt yourself, just go to work. Next thing you know you'll have it tore out of there.

If the plywood has been screwed down the the best way to remove it is to unscrew it using a drill with a #2 phillips bit.

more than likely you are asking because the screws are messed up other wise you would have already unscrewed them get a long 3/4 thick prybar and hammer it in to the wood if its old and rotting it shouldnt be too hard
