I recently bought a multi-tier bird bath made of concrete for my backyard.

I was certain (100%) that the base and main dish were level. What I found was the other tier sections have unlevel bottoms.

I am looking for stabalizing material - like caulk - to both level the sections and stabalize them if I can get them totally perfect.

The material I am looking for is similar or the same as the type of material that monument companies use to attach marble or metal vases to monuments in cemetary locations. (Sounds gross I know, but it must work because EVERY monument seems to use the same stuff.)

Thanks in advance!

I live in a neighborhood where most all the neighbors have dogs and like to walk them in the evenings. What is the best way to keep the dogs from peeing in my flowerbed around my mailbox. The owners do not seem to care when their dogs do this. I have heard the spray to keep dogs away does not work. I have thought about tacks around the flowers. Sounds mean but the owners should respect the other neighbors yards. How would they feel if we went and peed and pooped in their yard. Not much fun mowing or walking in your yard and stepping in dog poop. I think it is pretty disrespectful to think it is OK for your animals to use the neighbor's yards for toilets.

I moved into my rental house about 3 months ago and only plan on living here for a few years until I can afford to buy my own so I don't really want to put any money into it. But, there is wallpaper on my shower walls and its hiding mold and it's peeling off. Worse yet, it is all sunflowers!! There are three different kinds of wallpaper in the bathroom, all different sunflower patterns. I love to relax in the tub but find it hard when the bathroom is a disaster. I know nothing about redecorating. What would be best to replace the wallpaper in the shower with? That is cheap but will outlast my stay here. I want the cheapest way to make my bathroom look better. Any suggestions, Please help!!!

Before anyone tries to tell me that diet pills are bad for you- I am not interested in your opinion. I had a baby 7 months ago and have never had a weight problem until now. I have tried several diets and really stuck to them and cannot lose a single pound. Infact, I am constantly gaining. I was just wondering if anyone has had success with this.

I have a moss rose plant that I just got a couple of weeks ago and was doing great. However, we just had an unexpected cold snap. I put it in a flower house so that it wouldn't get cold and when I went to get it out today, all of the leaves fell off. They look healthy but just fell off. Now all that is left is the stems and a few blooms that have not opened yet. The stems look fine, I just can't figure out what happened to the leaves unless maybe they did not get enough light?

I have a small indoor lavender bush in my home. On occasion, as lavender does, it gets too 'leggy' and I give her a haircut. I have no idea what to do with clippings. I love the smell to much to throw it out but I don't cook with lavender all that much.

I had a house inspected and about three inches of water was found on top and under the plastic in the crawl space in three locations. The inspector advised me, it appears the water is seppage due to the gutters being filled with leaves and the water was not being moved from the house properly. He suggested to dig trenches in the crawl space and use a sump pump if we decide to buy. He stated the foundation and beams were in good shape and had no damage. Should I continue considering to buy this house or opt out of the contract? Will cleaning out the gutters make much of a difference? Is the recommendation of the inspector the best solution? If I still procede with the sale, I will ask for the crawl space issue be fixed. Thank you!!

My husband and I have just brought a block of vacant land and are interested in ideas for a small but cheap home to build ...is there a site that lists all the different materials available. We are thinking something different to your basic brick home. We like mud brick if you have any info on that?

I have an apartment building that has mold in it. I'm trying to do everything I can to increase the airflow. Sure, the tenants might have to spend a mint on heat, but if it improved the air quality, maybe it would be a good idea.

So I just got an suv. It's pre-owned, but in very good condition. Anyways I'm a horse-back rider so when I put my stuff in the back (sadlle, etc.) it will make the whole car smell after a while. There's no way to get rid of the smell of my saddle, so how can I keep my car smelling fresh for a long time?
