Hello,
My kitchen and toilet ceilings are uneven, looks kind of ugly so i'm thinking of re plastering it. I've seen those in tubes which uses a gun to squeeze it out(like silicon) and those paste type. What would be easy to work with ?
How do i go about doing it , like sanding,cleaning , plastering...etc.
Thanks for helping

This soap is softer than normal soap. It can be "shaved" off for a small washing machine load, or cut into pieces for larger loads. You can use the whole bar for stubborn stains, and it always worked.....We had grocery stores called Red Owl. Super Value, Farmers Union, & Co-op

Is it actually possible to make a copy of a key by making an impression of it in material similiar to clay or something like that? Recall seeing it done in a movie like 007 or the TV series Get Smart.

I work around grill foods, hot dogs and its sauce all day. I can't afford to buy a bunch of new clothes yet. I need to rewear jeans, shorts, and slacks till I can afford to buy more.

The power cable from mains to my hover mower has quite a slash/cut in its rubbery coating. Probably because of accidental flyover when someone else used it.

I unplugged it from mains/power and looked at the cut. Inside I can see more wires including another which has also got a cut in it's outer protection covering. There I can see the copper wiring inside.

The hover mower still works fully... is it safe to just tape over the cut with some masking tape of an insulating type ?

I've seen some hover mower cables before taped over with sellotape over cuts.

I am moving into a rental property with a low shower head, my question is, can you buy a shower head from a local hardware store, and easily replace it yourself? Are their different sizes, types..etc, that might not work, eg; age of existing shower head?

Living room is 18x12 Attached dining room is7x8 and small hallway 5x4. I'm assuming I should do all at once but after that I'm lost. I am trying to sell my home so I don't want a huge cost and I've heard it wasn't too difficult but would like some other opinions. How long would it take.etc. But my main concern is about how much it would cost. Anybody?

Also known as self tappers.

I don't get it. They don't tap in by themselves. What's so special about them.

And they are supposed to be pricier than other screws.

Thanks.

It appears so old that it is a natural fiber base like jute or something. Its not plastic like newer carpets. It just radiate grossness and id imagine there are ancient bactieria living within it. We are about to move out and i don't even want to clean it and subject the new renters this carpet i feel the owners should replace it.

My dad's birthday is coming up. He LOVES to garden, especially to work with flowers. But, he lives in Las Vegas. He is quite successful despite the arid climate. I thought he might appreciate a magazine subscription about gardening in the desert or in the southwest. Does anyone know of anything like this or how I could track one down? I'm looking for something that would focus on something other than "desert landscaping" (i.e. cacti and rocks) but would show adjustment for planting times, etc.
