I purchased a LG front loader. It was installed today and used for the first time. I noticed after the first, second and now the third wash that there was a very musky smell in the drum. Should it be that way. I really don't like that. I want my clothes fresh. The clothes don't have a smell at all but the drum smell perculiar.

My wife noticed that our (almost 1 year old) gas dryer has a flame within that is visible in some creases in the frame with the lights out. We're affraid it might be a fire hazard but opening the door and closing it stops the flame, which leads us to believe it may be normal. Our is a new model gas Frigidaire FGQ1442E , http://www.frigidaire.com/products/laundry/dryers/gas/prod_FGQ1442E.asp

I've noticed that the water in my house is drying out my eyes, skin, and hair as if I had been swimming all day.

I'm looking at installing one on my house and am just wondering if it will make a difference. Are they expensive to maintain? Should I test my water first? Did you notice a difference after they installed theirs? Anybody got a product review?

Any info much appreciated!

I just don't get how the people on ABC's extreme home makeover can afford the taxes on their lavious new homes when most are down on their luck. Prizes are taxed as income. I would think an extreme home makeover would qualify as a prize winning.

We're getting ready to build a pool with moss rocks and weeping walls. We have a ton of pine trees around and they always coat our cars, the cement, etc with pollen.

A coworker of mine says he had a pool with moss rocks on the side and they were a pain to keep clean and when he washed them all the pollen would wash into the pool and get the pool nasty. Well, my wife really wants those rocks and weeping wall. So I'm looking for more opinions on this. Is it really going to be that nasty?

There's an onion that has been cut in half by my girlfriend, but wasn't placed in a sealed bag afterwards.

So it's hanging out with the potatoes in the fridge, and it's got a few sprouts, the longest being almost 3 inches!

Now, should I leave it and let it sprout some more?

And how can I plant it or raise it to grow my own onions?

I have a slight leak coming in though my siding where the there should have been a flashing. I'd like to use some foam spray adhesive on a couple of spots to stop it. Can I use this stuff for outside use and what brand is the best for this job.

I just want the disposable type not the type that comes with a gun handle.

Can't replace the windows, how do I fix this problem? The house sat for two years before we got our hands on it, with the heat some of the windows corrected themselves but some did not.
