I live in an apartment,have limited mobility and scratched lino floors,how can I make them look nice for cheap?Have repeadetly asked for rewaxing to no avail,do have a cleaning lady mop but I am sure there is buildup.

Remove buildup with soapy water laced with ammonia. Make sure you have a window open for good ventilation. Soak the floor pretty well and let it sit for about 15 minutes then...wipe it up and let it dry ...you may want to wash it up again with some Mr. Clean or something along that line...let it dry again and apply a liquid wax ...like Future ...you may need 2 coats. let dry between coats and your floor should look great.

Well ,after sweeping the lino, I would mop it with a bucket and detergent -about twice a week. I-would get on the floor and and clean-it-with a sponge on the week ends. (this way it would always appear pretty clean)- but if you really haven't time?? then Id get a relative to help- /a flat mate -/ or get a paid cleaner.

I think Armstrong makes a product called floor restore or something like that. It is put down as a liquid wax and you have to let it dry but it reconditions the lino and restores the shine. It lasts for a year or so.
