I am hopefully buying an apartment, one of the rooms is a single bedroom so having a double bed, wardrobes, cabinets ect would cause a problem with space. I was thinking, I want a bed that comes off the floor by about 6 feet so I can put these underneath...obviously would get some ladders for this but do these type of beds exist? Kinda like a single bunk bed, but the bed would be a double!

I hate my living room mahogany window frames. They suck the light out of the room. I'd rather not do a poor job of painting them. Is there a sort of PVC fascia available instead?

My questing is how the hell am I supposed to thread a cable down a wall ACROSS another 118'' and down that wall. Please someone give me some hints on how to do this. I have an attic, basic tools, and a CAT 5 cable crimping kit

How do you take the sticky part of Duct Tape off a glass window?

I'm in college and on a late night we thought it woud just be a great idea to put the word howdy on my dorm room window in duct tape

I pulled all the letters off and the dy of howdy didn't come off like the other piece (the gray part ripped away from the sticky part which was stuck on the glass window)

schools almost over and i'm going to need to get this off or i'll be fined... this winter it like froze to the window but it's summer time.

any idea on how 2 get it off?

I painted the chipboard ceiling of our new house about a year ago. Already it is very flaky (the room can be both quite hot and quite cold). We've moved in now. How should I rectify this situation?

My five year old is about to turn six and I would like to make one for her. I know It can't be hard, I really just need to know what goes in the middle. It'd have to be something tall enough to make each side go pretty high.

I have on and off vibrating and humming sound coming from the water pipes in my bathroom. The noise stops whenever we turn on the faucet in the bathroom sink. We can also hear the sound coming from behind the refridgerator in the kitchen. My refridgerator is the kind that dispenses water. How can we stop the noise? By the way, we did have a loose toilet in that bathroom which was fixed not so long ago. And my house is only 6 yrs. old.

My disposal wasn't turning, so I unplugged it, did the broom handle trick to free the blades, then (and I think this is where I f'ed up...) I hit the reset button before I plugged it in. So, when I plugged it in, it started running, but won't stop unless I unplug it. Do I need to somehow get the reset button popped out, or what?!?!

My daughter flushed an easter egg down the toilet. My son did the same thing when he was a kid, so I was prepared. I had to remove the toilet from the floor to snake the toy out, but got it out. I replaced the wax ring, since there wasn't much of one left.
Here's my problem. What I've seen before are two screws that come out of the ground, you put the bowl on the screws, and tighten. This toilet has two screws, but they come out of a round black piece that is screwed to the ground. It looks like you have to put the toilet on at an angle, and then twist about an eighth of a turn so the screws lock in a bit, then tighten. After about an hour I can get one to engage, but not the other. Is there an easier way to do this that I'm not figuring out?
I hope somebody knows what I'm talking about, I don't know if I made ANY sense. Thank you!!!
