I would like something maybe I would already have in my cabinets. I have hardwood floors so I don't have any carpet cleaner.

Mix 1/4 teaspoon of a mild liquid dishwashing detergent (no lanolin, non-bleach) with one (1) cup of lukewarm water. NEVER USE A STRONGER CONCENTRATION. NEVER USE A LAUNDRY DETERGENT OF ANY TYPE. (Laundry detergents contain fluorescent dyes that can alter fiber colors.)

If the detergent solution does not release the stain, then follow with a solution of two (2) tablespoons of ammonia with one (1) cup of water. After the stain is released, to neutralize the solution, always rinse with a combination of one (1) cup white vinegar with two (2) cups water, followed by a warm water rinse

Unfortunately, the longer any red liquid remains on carpet fibers, the chances of getting the stain out become less likely because the fibers are "dyed" by the color from the liquid (Olefin is the exception). For future stains, immediately upon occurrence, blot up as much of the liquid as possible--place a towel over the spot and step up and down on the towel, rotating the towel as liquid is absorbed. Then use Woolite Oxy Deep 2X--this stuff is great. Get some for the next time. You could try it on the gatorade stain, but try it first on an inconspicuous area (like in a closet) to see if it will take the color out of your carpet along with the stain (yes, biege will change color). My ex was a carpet cleaning professional, and any cleaner will tell you that there is nothing that will take out a stain that has set without risk of changing the color of the carpet where the stain is.

go to the store and get some carpet stain remover and spray it on and then vacuum it out. Since you don't have a vacuum, go to a self service car wash and use theirs. Good luck

Borax removes fruit and juice stains. Vinegar is also good for some stains and takes out blood.

you are white and rich and bored aren't you.

have the dog crap on it, then the stains won't look so bad and tell your husband the dog did it.

Then you can go straighten the bath towels (like Sleeping With the Enemy), that should give you enough to do for a day. Right?
