I am hopefully buying an apartment, one of the rooms is a single bedroom so having a double bed, wardrobes, cabinets ect would cause a problem with space. I was thinking, I want a bed that comes off the floor by about 6 feet so I can put these underneath...obviously would get some ladders for this but do these type of beds exist? Kinda like a single bunk bed, but the bed would be a double!

IKEA has loft beds that would serve the purpose. Here's a link but you can find an IKEA near you from it.

This solved the problem for us in my teenage son's small room. And the price is right too....

6 foot high. Good grief.
Why not just build your own surround for the bed and then buy the mattress.
Or just buy the whole bed with drawers
underneath.
Who wants to climb a 6 foot ladder every night.

6 feet!!!! Please, just get a platform bed that offers drawers in its base. Any regular bed can be heightened with little feet that are available in most furniture stores to give enough room for the same storage you would get with a platform bed. And of course you can always build it yourself.

You will probably have to go to a lumber yard and build your own. You'll need some sturdy posts for legs, cross braces and plywood to support the box spring and mattress.
