My kids have a Pixar electronic video game. It takes 4 AA batteries. It stopped working so I opened it to change the batteries and they had coroded. I removed them and installed new batteries but the machine is not working. Did the corosion kill the machine? Is there some way I am supposed to clean the corosion?

We'd like to finish off the lower level of the house and make it into a gaming/media room. The floor is concrete (in good shape overall) and we want to lay down commerical tile (that icky stuff you see in hospitals, etc.), then probably a rug. Should we paint the floor first, or lay tiling directly on the concrete?

I'm looking for something that measures the entire ph scale 1-14, I've been to home depot, they have ph testing kits for pools, but those only measure something like 6-8 which is useless for me. Anyone know of a store where I can buy the kind im looking for?

I generally use glass cleaner (windex) and paper towels to clean windows and mirrors in my house. It seems that no matter the brand of either paper towel or cleaner I am left with streaks.

Any suggestions?

I live in kentucky and i just purchased night bloomer seeds and day lily plants, which came in sealed green bags. I have no idea how to plant any of these, or when. Do i need to use actual soil, or can i put them in the dirt? Do i need to water them, or will the rain be enough? Can i plant them now, or will they die (the temp is about 60 during the day and 40 at nite)? And what other plants can i mix w/ day lilies that will look nice and thrive?

I have bok choy from the market and want to plant my own. I don't have access to a wide variety of gardening seeds and I don't want to order anything off the Net. There aren't any roots on my store-bought bok choy but I've noticed the "heart" has buds steming from it. What can I use to grow my own?
