Is your lawn fenced? Do you like dogs? Get a dog that is free to roam your yard, it will scare the rabbits away. If that's not an option, call your local humane society and see if you can "live trap" the rabbits and have someone release them further out of the neighborhood.

the law in california doesn't allow ferrets. having a dog there would only be a good idea if the house owner is a good dog owner for the dog's life time of 10 to 20 years. the easiest thing to do is to trap the rabbits and move them to a wildness far away from property.

Do you or do you know of anyone who has indoor cats? About the best thing I have found to deter bunnies is "USED" cat litter. When changing the cat litter box, rather than pitching it in the trash, spred it along your property boundaries and under your flowers and buses. The pungent odor of "CAT", especially "male" cat usually says to the bunnies that one of their worst enemies is lurking somewhere nearby . Litter is usually biodegradable and will not hurt your lawn or plants. The only drawback is that you may have to keep repeating it untill the bunnies get the message or whenever it rains.

When we had cats outdoors, we never had excessive rabbit trouble. Otherwise, you could consider getting fox urine or something similar and spreading it on the edges of your property.

Rabbit poop is an excellent fertilizer, let them keep doing it. Now if
they are eating everything up that's a whole different story.

try spreading your own urine ( as gross as that sounds ) around the outside edges of your property. Or go to a sports store and buy some coyote urine or other animal.
