YOu can buy replacement plugs at home improvement stores in the electrical dept. You would cut the old plug off and strip the wires to bare metal. The black wire will go to the yellow or brass colored screw, the white will go to the silver colored one and the green or bare goes to the ground or green screw. Good luck

changing the mains cable is in maximum cases an hassle-free factor to do. it is going to even nevertheless require the removing of the lower back of the television to be completed precise and make a secure restore. it is the place it may get probably risky whilst you're actually not suitabley experienced. a standard CRT television might have voltages in the area 25,000 volts upwards on the tube anode and a few thousand on the tube base and line output stages. it is going to shield those voltages charged up interior long after it is been switched off. you will get injury! it fairly is only no longer an costly activity yet i might depart it to a professional or somebody who's conscious of their way around digital kit

get a replacement plug with three prongs from a hardware store. replace the wires one to one. do not get it mixed up or you could be in trouble.

usually the color codes for plugs are. black to smaller blade. white to the larger blade. green to the middle.

good luck!
