Before anyone tries to tell me that diet pills are bad for you- I am not interested in your opinion. I had a baby 7 months ago and have never had a weight problem until now. I have tried several diets and really stuck to them and cannot lose a single pound. Infact, I am constantly gaining. I was just wondering if anyone has had success with this.

I was on it years ago(when it was fen-phen) I lost a lot of weight...over 30 pounds in about 2 1/2 months.

My sister and best friend are both on it now. Both have lost a lot of weight. My sister is down 30 pounds since december...and my friend is down 26 pounds since January.

You are on the wrong diet. Not all of them work for everyone. You need to find one you can stick to and will work. Sounds like your metabolism isn't quite right. LA Weight Loss and Provida.com are two that target getting the metabolism back up.

As for the diet pills.......think of your baby. Several years ago a diet aid came out that ultimately destroyed heart valves. Are you a gambler with your daughter's mother's life?

It will help suppress your appetite. So, it will help you eat less calories. It won't melt fat off your body. Diet pills are amphetamines. You should not take them if you have high blood pressure or heart disease. The people who had problems had existing heart conditions. Also, they won't prescribe them to you unless you are clinically obese with a BMI > 30.

Check out the American Diabetes Association Diet. It is balanced, which is important because you need to stick to it. Also, increase your exercise. I try to exercise 45 minutes per day.

I am assuming you're not breast feeding...

Breast feeding is the quickest way to drop baby weight. Also, diet pills can be really harmful to a baby and they will ingest it through the mother's milk!
