I just bought a 18' easy set pool and its on its way...my question is....what chemicals will it need besides chlorine?? Can I use one of those floating chlorinators??? How will I know what level the chemicals should be at???

Any info would help!! Thanks!!

You need a chemical test kit. They are not expensive. You can get them at pool stores or even Walmart. This testing will give you the PH levels and chlorine levels. Keeping the proper balance of chemicals will help prevent bacteria from forming and give you more time for pleasure from the pool than giving you more work and money to treat after something has happened. I prefer using liquid chlorine but have used the floaters in the past.
