I have a small shed-like structure in the backyard that I plan on using as an outdoor escape. I am going to install a cable box, dvd player, mini-fridge, 60" HDTV and some other very small appliances. Where can I get an outdoor extension cord (long, 100' to 200') to support this type of demand? I am sure it will cost a couple of hundred dollars, but it's far cheaper to plug this into an existing patio outlet than to hire someone to perform electrical work. Please send me as many direct links as you can, and thanks for reading...

I have never done this yet. We rent, but our kitchen sink faucet is horrible and we want to get a new one, Is there a universal sink faucet size or is there a way of finding out what size ours is?

I thought that the water in the basement was coming from outside when it rained or the snow melted until today after my oldest son who is almost 6 went to the bathroom and I heard it raining in the basement. Than I went into the bathroom and there was water all over the place. I'm nervous about wether or not my floor may rot because I know it is expensive and this has happened before. Any suggestions? He's already not allowed to use toilet paper by himself I'm giving him only a certain amount everytime he goes!

I have some holes drilled into the my custom cabinetry that are to be used for running wires between AV equipment. I was wiring everything up and found that the holes are too small so I need to make them bigger. They're probably 2inches wide right now and I need to double it.

I'm afraid to use a standard hold driller because it assumes that you have something to that the drill can bite into, whereas I have a hole where there would normally be wood.

Any suggestions? P.S. the wood is about 2.5 inches thick.

Thanks!

I have two bathrooms, one has a GFI Outlet and the other does not. I need a GFI Outlet in the bathroom that currently does not have one. Is it as simple as switching the outlets or do I need to make sure there is something else related to the panel box? Thanks and of course, I will have a licensed electrician do any work.

There is a red headed woodpecker in my back yard pecking at a hole in a tree while a wren flits back and forth chirping. Are wrens and woodpeckers enemies?

Please settle this debate...my girlfriend and I each think it should be one way and not the other. The coffee table is rectangular with a single drawer on the long side of the table. Please help!

I've had a Kenmore, Hoover and Bissell now and all are broken, I can only assume from the strain of trying to lift up the fur. I can have them all cleaned/repaired for $40 each or get one that will last. What have you had luck with?

I have an14 year old oak tree in my backyard that had a lot of new spring leaves (thank you 85 plus weather for 10 days). Anyhow we have had two nights of a hard freeze and the tree /leaves look pathetic, will the tree die, will the leaves come back when the weather warms up or will it be a sad sight all season? Thanks
