Please settle this debate...my girlfriend and I each think it should be one way and not the other. The coffee table is rectangular with a single drawer on the long side of the table. Please help!

I always face mine toward the sofa but think about it......Does it really mattter? There is so much more to worry and think about in this world today than a talbe with a drawer.

Whichever suits you best. Some people like it facing out for decorative purposes. However, if you are going to use that drawer, toward the couch would be more convenient.

I think it should face the sofa. Good for storing remotes and tv guides, yet items still easily accessible.
