we have no warranty or guarantee as our landlord left it for us as a good will gesture but told us that if theres any problems with it we would have to get it repaired ourselves as he has no documents for it.

It sounds to me like it needs to be leveled up. The legs on a washing machine will turn in or out, so tip it up and work with the four adjustable legs , until it will sit level and not be teetering any when you try to make it. Also, sometimes if you put too heavy a load in it , it will spin loudly. But, if it's level, it should be a lot better. Hope this helps.

sounds like the bearings have gone you should still have it on gara ntee so don't let them fob you of with repairs a machine has about a 5 year life span not 6 months demand another machine as this shouldn't have gone wrong this quick if they fix this then something else might go ask 4 a new machine get a different make so you know there not bringing the same one back you can do this as we did
if no joy tell them your take them to trading standards it works all the time good luck .

The bearings may have gone on the outside of the drum, this happened to ours, when its not on put your hand in and turn the drum, if it wont move or its very difficult to do then this is the problem! if its only 6 months old its still under warranty, contact the store where you bought it, they should be able to help!

It sounds like the little caster feet need adjusting. It happended to my machine, but with a little adjustment, I got it quiet!
It might be a daft question, but did you take the baton of wood off the back when it was delivered? This is for transportation only, and will stop the drum moving properly if not removed - hence the machine jumps.

This is a simple problem. The machine is often off balance when this happens. I would call the 800 # that is usually on a sticker on the appliance itslef & ask how to reset. Also, try not to wash alot of jeans & towels (heavy stuff) all at once. This leads to this problem.

What are you washing something heavy like towels or sheets or other bed linens?
Run your washer without anything in it but water, if it doesn't do that in the spin cycle, your clothes need to be arranged inside the machine to balance it, when it spins. If it still does it, call the repair man.

that happened to mine after 9 months and it was because the huge concrete block attached to the drum had started to split , i would advise you have a good look under it to be safe and if the concrete is cracking dont use until fixed. it could just be you need to use the leveling things on each leg

Yeh, take it back if its only 6 months old. If you tamper with it yourself the warranty will be void. And yes the rubber mounts are knackered.
