Oak trees have been around for a million years. They are adapted to suffer a couple of untimely freezes and survive.
The tree may look kind of crappy this year, but unless it was already weakened by parasites, disease or herbicides, it will probably survive.
There is a website for organic gardening techniques you can visit...

Happy Easter. This tree has seen far worse in your part of the country. I'm sure it has seen frost, hail, snow, and seasonal floods or drought.
If you have not already done it, which I'm sure you have, go out and get an appropriate amount of balanced fertilizer with minerals spikes for your tree. You will need to give a general height of the tree and the dripline from it. In the event that you are doing this now do it ASAP.
The damn tree will outlive you regardless of what you do. It may not look as pretty every Easter Sunday, but, it will still drop leaves beyond our days. Remove any leaves that fall from frost/freeze damage immediately. They tend to invite pests. Once established that is one tree that is like my ex. Want it to, but, won't ever haunt me. Good Luck

We went through this in Missouri about 2 weeks ago. All our trees look horrible right now. The temps were in the 20's for about a week. They are calling for snow here tomorrow. Don't worry the trees will get leaves again this Spring but as long as this weather is cool as it has been here still, the process will be slower this time.

It will come back as good as before in a couple of weeks. Here is west Texas we always get a killing frost around Easter. It only kills the new leaves, the trees always come back without harm. Pretty soon you won't even be able to tell that it got frost bit.

Yeah, our shrubs in simple terms all started blooming very last week even as the elements were given undesirable. The blooms seem type of crappy now. a minimum of we had some staggering days to get excitement from them before they were given frozen! All of our tulips are wilted with their buds on them-don't know in the journey that they are going to leap back or no longer-loopy 365 days weatherwise.

It will re-leaf out in a few weeks. Just give it a little water if the rains don't come.
