The float is fine. The rod that holds the float broke off at the screw end (which, also, is fine). All parts are (seemingly cheap) plastic. So, before I head off to Loews or Sears... can anyone tell me if they sell just the rods, or "rods-n-floats" sets, or will I need to buy an entire set of toilet guts just to get a new part? The rod and float assembly is in my car, so I can see what matches. I've looked on line, but nobody has addressed this issue....

Plastic or wooden strips cut into slots like a half comb effect would be good as I could then slot into each other to make exact sizes.

Last spring rabbits made about 10 nests in our back yard and basically tore it up-what a pain! It started again already this year and I am hoping someone can help us stop this. What can I do to stop the rabbits from nesting in our back yard? We have a dog, so you would think they would try to stay away, but they dont! Please help

I saw them at 2 different stores that sell them with pictures of ferns, birds, and eggs. They look beautiful but I don't know where the stores got them from. They won't tell me where they ordered from. They are new in style and are displays for home decor. Hope you will be able to help find 'em. Thanks!

Yes, I know it is probaly not the season for it to bloom now, but I'd like the info for later when the blooming season hits.

I have a huge rock pile in the back of my house. It was left over from the prvious owners. I have been putting off constructing a patio for 2 years. I was wondering if anyone has any idea how to use the rock to build a patio. It would sure bring the pile down if I could pull it off. Im looking at making it 10 x 10 or 10 x 12. Any Ideas?

I had a whole bedroom painted on Friday, and when I was examining the paint closely I find there were small "bumps" of paint in quite a few places, they're only visible when your closer to the wall, but it still irritated me..

1) Is that something that you can expect when having a room painted, or is it easy to avoid?
2) I decided to put my nail on one of these bumps, and it came off, but revealing a white spot (the room was painted green), I know nothing about painting but I want to paint that bit green again like the rest of the room, it is quite small, but not sure if it is as simple as me getting a small paint brush in the pot of paint and covering the white spot, or if it is more complicated than that? I don't want to make it look even worse!

Thanks!

Last year we developed a problem in our line. jets in pool work fine although we do have some air coming through one of jets in shallow end which I know to be bad if you see bubbles. Anyways , no suction. Cant vacuum the pool with the hose and our Hayward sand filter. I backwash and do everything I am supposed to. I think I need to replace the sand as I have never done this since moving in 3 years ago. We do have a leak but right now what I need are answers on how to remove the debris (dirt silt some grass and a lot of algae dust ) I shocked pool and its is clear and clean but leftover algae on bottom, and a lot of it. I bought one of those portable vacuums but it wont clean this ampount of dirt and debris. Do pool companies have a good size portable vacuum that does not need to be connected to my filter and hose? Is there a chemical burn off that is safe for vinyl pools and will burn this off. I need this fixed but need to know more because pool guys not real helpful when I call.

My tomato seeds are germinated and are popping up now. Im using jiffymix pellets and the roots are already going through the bottom. I need to know of a good soil, from calloways, that I can use, preferrably organix to grow em in.
Also I'll be using pots, so what size pots should I get to plant em in?
