I just purchased a Shark hard surface steam cleaner. My hardwood floors have been refinished about 8 years ago and are still in very good condition.

Perhaps some one out there can share their experiences with other uses for the hard surface steam cleaner as well. The shark owner's manual is very short without too many tips or precautions.

I was in the mall today shopping, and I saw a sweater I REALLY wanted. The only problem is, they didn't have one in my size. So I bought one that was 1 size too big, hoping that I'll be able to shrink it somehow.

How can I shrink it in the washer and/or the dryer down one size? Will it get too small? Will the shrink be permanet? Thanks! :)

I am looking to buy a table saw in the near future. I'd kind of like to get one made in the US. Does anyone have a list of all the American manufacturers that make tablesaws. Price is not an issue.

I need something relatively cheap without a whole bunch of sawing involved. Preferably adjustable but not necessary.

In my town, we make the acorn pie out of real acorn still. I don't know how you can eat your city fold acor pie with fake acorn, but i need the real stuff. Anywayz, how can I get the acorns on the top of the tree down? We can only pluck the lower level acorns from the tree, but the bastardish squirrels always get the top ones. This year I want to beat the squirrels at their own damn game. I love me that pie. Help would be thanked by jesus. Thank you in advance. God Bless.

There are squirrels coming in the tiny cracks in my house and under my door. I hate these beasts of burden. Should I put down bug spray to keep them out? Or should i just pepper mace their faces when they come in? I am tired, but they keep coming in my bed at night. I hate these beasts of burden!!

and i've washed it once since it got and the first time i washed it it streched out a little but not enough to worry about. I bought it as a medium and then when i i washed it again today it got streched out from about a medium to about an x-large. Is there a way i can get it back down to at least a size between medium and large cuz anything bigger than that and it is practically falling off of me.

A house we may buy has nice hardwood floors. They look just a bit dull and have a few splashes of paint in a few areas. I've never had to care for hardwood floors, any ideas?

Does that "kaboom" stuff really work?

I just planted my zoysia grass today, and we have an acre of land...we got so tired of doing the itty bitty pieces of plugs like they told us to and the pallets they ship you we ended up cutting them into 4 sections rather than 150 like it said it could do. We ordered 1900 plugs. Do you think it will work just as well? I dont understand how anyone has patience to do all of those little plugs.

I am leaning toward something neutral. Do I paint every room the same color or is it the trim that is suppose to be the same color throughout the house?

I had some tomato seedlings that were doing really well, about 4-5 inches high and 3-4 sets of leaves. Tonight they have fallen over. Am I giving them too much water or not enough? They are in 4" peat pots and feel dry when I stick my finger in it, but I'm not sure if there is some moisture down further. I'm in Utah so the air is dry here and they were in a south facing basement window, so not too much direct sunlight, but some. Help?
