All the ones I see have a tiny collector and a pale single LED light. Are there any that are like real lights? At any price?

Does anyone even know what kind of tree this is? If you don't, I'll tell you that it is a magnificent-looking tree that grows anywhere up to 150 to 200 feet. The trunk of the tree is gnarly because its nothing but killer thorns to keep damage from happening to the trunk. (Talk about evolution.) The thorns are like rose-bush thorns on steroids, but the tree itself can be a spectacular addition to a big yard. Anyhow, I have some seeds and I'd like to know if anyone has some info on how to proceed. If you are interested, here's a link to follow if you want to know what it looks like;

Chamberlain opener electronics died. A friend had a Liftmaster opener with the main nylon gear all chewed up. I put the gear from the Chamberlain into the Liftmaster. They are interchangeable. Opener does not close because it needs to see the safety eyes to trigger it to close. I don't have any because the Chamberlain didn't require them. Is there a way to bypass the Liftmaster to fool it into thinking the eyes are inplace and lined up????

The maintenance man came and poured something in it to eliminate the smell but it still stinks! I would prefer to use something chemical free if possible. Thanks!

We are putting up crown molding in our "billiards" room in the "sunken in" bottom floor of our tri-level townhome. The walls are a deep red. We have an espresso pub table and an espresso mirror. The fabric on the sofa is a cream/tan with brown lines. The cieling is white. The room opens up to the kitchen and there are three bamboo shades (on the darker side). The fireplace tile is kind of a golden yellow/tan color but we may change that someday to match the sofa more... The question is whether we should go with white crown molding (even though there isn't really any white in the room) or whether we should stain it to bring in the color from the bamboo shades or a color from the sofa (creamy tan or medium brown). I have only really seen white crown molding before but Lowe's sells quite a bit of stained crown molding too. So, we thought it would be good to consider our options.

I've got a auto-drip coffee make with one of those glass pots. It's got a year's worth of stains I've tried to scrub off but won't come clean. Is there a special solution or something I can use.

I have seen other "santa-fe" style homes. The exterior is either painted brick or cinder block. Neither of these materials look "authentic adobe". Any Ideas?

I have a Whirpool refrigerator and the ice maker is not dispensing ice. It seems that the water is not getting where it should be. Aside from a clog in the line, is there anything else that can be wrong?

we finished the basement 2 years ago. Had it sealed. We live a little farther south so humidity is a problem in our area. But I have 1375 sq ft of finished walkout basement that I cant seem to keep the musty smell out of, short of getting a dehumidifier. Which I would prefer not to have to buy. Any thoughts would be great.Thanks in advance

My driveway is very ugly because parts have sunken and cracked like an eggshell over the years. I tried to use repair sections of it with asphalt a few years ago, and that worked well, but it is coming off constantly and just makes my driveway look worse because it is not all repaired. Is there anyway I can repair it without the help of professionals? Any other tips or ideas are welcome, too.

This is a craftsman 1/2 horse power chain drive opener probably 15 years old (pre-safety beam sensors). Short of stripping a gear that I was able to replace it has been reliable since I bought the house 5 years ago. One morning the little red light in the wall button was out and the door wouldn't work at all. Any troubleshooting suggestions short of buying a new one?

For wiping up small spills is it cheaper to use a paper towel, or grab a couple of tissues, or napkin. I'm talking about a few drops of milk on the counter, or a splash of coffee.
