Can I train periwinkle, Bowles Cunningham Periwinkle (Vinca Minor 'Bowles Cunningham'), to climb and cover a wall? I know I have selected the right location as far as soil, moisture, and sun is concerned and that it has long "vines" like a climbing plant so I know I can tie it up but I want it to thrive. Also I have seen people stagger nails in a wall and tie vines to them. Is there any trick to that? Thanks for your help and tips!

I want to be able to put 4-6 lights together so that one plug will turn them all on. However, I cant just run it to a power strip or the like. If i have 4-6 keyless sockets can i just run the wire in series and chain the lights together and then put a plug on the end? The lamps im useing are 60 watt. Thanks

Question: What's the ratio of vinegar to water...50/50 or ???

Also, when people refer to 'vinegar' are they referring to plain white vinegar or ???

I have a spider plant which has green in the middle and white along the edges. A few months ago it produced an all green baby. Now it is already half the size of the mother plant. It is growing quicker and looks healthier than the mother plant. It is entirely dark green. I have never heard of a one color spider plant. Is this rare? Any info would be helpful!!

I am getting married in September when my favourite flower Peony is out of season. I have located some freeze dried peony heads and was thinking I can use them as a table centre decoration in a fish bowl. Would this work, or would the head become saturated and sink?????????????

I'm looking for cheap here - $100 for an end table is WAY out of my budget. $20 for that is better. I'm looking to "fill" a 2 bedroom apartment for under $1000, so I need cheap prices without losing quality. I've tried Walmart.Com and Target.Com so far, but am not sure where to look. Any help appreciated!

Is there some trick of the trade for this problem?

In my apartment, my front room with the big windows is already starting to get hot. My bedroom has cinderblock and it stays quite cool, even in the summer. So, do ya think a big fan in the front room, in the window will keep the front room cool, or should i just bite it and get an a/c. They are not that much, but i'd like not to buy one if i can possible avoid it. Thanks.
