You might have more luck looking in one of your local Freecycle Groups. Freecycle is a community where people post information about their unwanted items. Local members can then make a request for the item. There is no money involved, and the person who is offering the item has the choice of who to give it to. Hopefully if you have a search through your local groups for a shed, you'll strike lucky!

Nottinghamshire has six groups, you can find them here:

Derbyshire has seven groups, they can be found here:

Another idea is to search eBay for 'free to good home' or 'free to collect' as items often pop up. Looking in your local shop window at the small ads or in you local 'buy & sell' type classifieds paper may be worth it too.

Good luck in your search!

I have a few sheds but not a garden shed. Is it to store garden tools and equipment? I don't know about the UK but you can get a pretty good used garden shed for minimal cost. I was online and came across this blog that has some great info on storage sheds. It's royal-shed-storage.info. It has a few new and used sheds that you can look at and see if it suit your needs for your home. Also, you can probably look around in your area for moving or garage sales that have a pretty decent shed for sale. I got one from a moving sale that was only for $30 and it was a month old. pretty good for just looking around.
