Australia, How much does it cost to get a wall knocked down in a house???

It's an interior wall, I also want to get a door put in where one is not there, does anyone know about how much any of this will cost?

Alot has to do with what the wall is made of. Is it a plaster wall, brick wall, or sheetrock.
Is this the main supporting wall in the house or not?
These guys figure on the time it takes them to do it.
Any electrical complications or plumbing? What do you want up in its place.?

Knowing exactly what you want and having the materials there make things go quicker. Make a simple plan and follow it. Once you got that and the measurements you could go to any building supply place and they could give you names of renovators who can give you a good estimate, on time to tear and rebuild.

It will cost . Price will vary . Contact local repairers either in paper or yellow pages. Can you not do it yourself ? Perhaps friends or relatives can help. Also depends on how quick you want it done as you could do it in a weekend or two.
