I just purchased a Shark hard surface steam cleaner. My hardwood floors have been refinished about 8 years ago and are still in very good condition.

Perhaps some one out there can share their experiences with other uses for the hard surface steam cleaner as well. The shark owner's manual is very short without too many tips or precautions.

Steam cleaning your hardwood floors, Ykes don't do it you will only ruin those beautiful hardwood floors, hardwood floors as you know are expensive it is not worth ruin it for maybe a little less elbow grease and sweat, just wash your floors as you normally do, Murphy's oil soap is very good for those floors and gentle, I would recommend that. Good Luck !

I always thought that steaming was the best way to clean them. The floors dont get saturated with water and it's dry soon as you move to the next spot. You'll be just fine, thats what its made for.

Use the only products recommended by manufacturer, it is in good shape you wrote, do the same thing that was done to keep it that way.

Do not change a thing.
