I live in Maryland and am interested in buying some art deco bar stools for the kitchen.

Description:
round, black top
steel legs.

What stores in Maryland would carry this? If there are no stores available will consider buying it online.

Thanks. :-)

I'm beginning a kitchen remodeling project and have already taken the tile backsplash (about 10" high) off the sheetrock. The sheetrock was previously textured (common in new houses) and then the tile was glued onto it.

When taking the tile off, the paper portion of the sheet rock has ripped off with some of the tile exposing the plaster center portion of the sheet rock. In some other places the plaster is cracked. It isn't too bad. Some areas of damage are about half the size of an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper.

I want to retile with a full backspash and was wondering how to go about this over the damaged portions. Do I simply retile over the exposed plaster areas? How do I go about tiling over the cracked plaster portions?

Thank you for your input and suggestions.

We unfortunatley have mice suttering about in our house & I was wondering what would be the best way to get rid of them apart from pest control. We can't use ultrasound as we have rabbits.

If you are pregnant, is it safe to wear new clothes or sleep in new bedding before use? I bought a new king sized comforter, and washed it, but my washer is so small, I don't think it got the job done. It still has a slight "new smell" odor. Is it ok to use, or should I take it to the cleaners and wash in an industrial sized washer? Thanks.

As you cant use dimmer switches on them ,cant find light fittings to take them without looking hideous, won't get one to fit your oven or extractor hood . Won't work on movement detector security lighting , dust to dawn controls or electronic timers. Not to mention the crappy light that they give off that affects the eyesight.
Where are we going to get the landfill sights that will take all the useless dimmerswitches, ovens ,extractors timers etc etc etc. Is it me or are they all barking mad. I am off to buy myself a lifelong supply of real light bulbs from B and Q before they are taken off of the shelves

I have 2 toddlers I would like to let play outside this summer. My 2 year old got stung 7 times last summer. I have heard different solutions. I was just looking for some reassurance. I've read: dryer sheets, moth balls, peeled garlic cloves, lemon juice, paper bag stuffed with newspaper, and even peeing on it! Does any of this work? Except peeing on......

I am extremely busy and my house suffers from neglect. I try to get a reliable person with references to help cleaning my house - mainly dusting, mopping. No laundry, dishes or cooking. Just to keep house presentable.
Jeez- I can't believe that people want $ 20 to 25 an hour to dust a house. Cash money - That's a lot. I thought like $ 10 an hour for like let's say 10 hours a week would be reasonable. Am I outrageous cheap or housekeepers too expensive? You don't need a brain surgery degree to mop and dust a little. Just wondering. I guess I take some time to do it myself but I won't spend $ 20 an hour:)

I just realized I installed my ceramic tile using self leveling cement. Do I have a chance in helll for the tiles staying down? I just went and pulled on one fairly hard on the edge and it did not pop loose. I was sick with the flu when I mixed the cement. I mixed it using the same measurements as the ceramic tile mix, so it was thick. Please tell me the tile will stay put! It was a 500 sq. foot tile job! Done while sick as a dog with 100 degree fever.
