I am assuming you are speaking of the bar oil. Check the bar oiler adjuster(usually on under side of saw) and make sure it is set properly. This regulates the flow of the bar oil to the bar.

Chainsaws do not usually have a oil tank. Since they can be run upside down or sideways they are designed to get oil by that oil being mixed in with the gasoline they burn.

There is usually a sticker saying something like "mix two ounces of non-detergent oil with a tank of gas" or they might have a 2 oz cup covering the top of the fuel tank to measure that oil. I don't know where you are pouring oil into but it is not going to do anything for the engine which is expecting to self lubricate from that gas-oil mixture. Read the instructions.

vtullr is right ,, look around this area as the lubricator is adjustable it may be way off or had a piece vibrate loose.. there should also be a filter like pad, this keeps the oil from squirting by reducing the pressure used to move the oil to the bar..
