I have used static guard. It doesn't help at all. My new furniture seems to have started it or it was just a coincidence. I can't even comb my hair without it filling it out with static. Anyone else had this problem and find a solution?

- credit card method will NOT work; there is an edge along the door frame
- locked from the inside, with straight side of bolt in hole facing you
- minimal damage to the door preferred
- old doorknobs, left by previous owners
- no keyhole, screws to hold doorknob in place, or holes of any kind on surface of doorknob

My room is always so messy. It gets to the point to where there's a little pathway going from my door to my bed. My problem is that everytime I clean my room, it gets messy the next day. I hate cleaning it too often because I know where everything is when it's messy. But, there is the occasional time where I can't find anything. My room is pretty small and I know I have too much stuff. I was going to start to throw stuff that I don't need away, but I'm a pack rat. How do can I keep my room clean and organised? What are some good tips to throw away things that you don't need? Any other tips you have on this topic I'd gladly take also.

Please and thank you.

I know they're not sweat stains. They appear in random spots. Could it be minerals in the water? I don't think it's the detergent since I've tried several. Unfortunately, I don't know if they appear when the clothes are wet or after they come out of the dryer.

My fiance' and I are thinking of turning our garage into a room. We are having a contractor come by tomorrow to give us an estimate. Could you give us a heads up on some things that would be good to know before we make the ultimate decision. (ex. price, advantages/disadvantages, safety, etc.)

I am on disability and cannot work, my income is less than 1200.00 a month and I pay all my bills and expenses out of it, can anyone help me. My hot water heater is leaking and this leaves me with no water because I had to shut if off from the outside to stop the leak. I would not ask for help but I am desparate.

i've got a few new (2 month old) tables from pottery barn and both are cracking. the dining table is jsut hairlines in what appears to be the veneer, but the end table, which is a differnet collection/wood is cracking more severely..
it's cracked in 5-6 spots, and all are at the edge, but go from top to bottom, thru veneer and whatever is underneath.
is there something i am doing wrong?
i have steam radiators, and know they create a dry winter home, but don't many people have the same issue?
shouldn't they take this into consideration?
they are going to take it back, but should i expect this to happen again?
looking for solutions...
thanks.

I have a concrete basketball court that is divided into 8 sections. One of the sections collects water and now has a permate low spot. Is it possible to correct this by leveling off the low spot by adding quick creat? If so what is the best way to repair?

Btw, the court is located in the back yard. An area impossible to be reached by a concrete truck. I'm trying to repair the one section without removing whats already there.
