I always use pool chems to balance the PH, ALK, Bromine and hardness and had fantastic luck. Lately, I still get more foam than I'd like to see. Though it isn't much id rather not see it. Any ideas?

I have 2 propane tanks that hold 80 lbs each and said to hold 375 letres each of propane. Yesterday I had them filled by my propane supplier. The tanks had 33 and 34 lbs in them before fill up. After fill up the tanks showed over the 80 lbs and I was charged for 485.6ltrs. In Dec. I had 31 and 35 lbs before fill-up and was charged for 448ltrs. Yesterdays fill-up is an additional 37.6 ltrs when I had 1 lb. more in the tanks. I called the company and they said this was due to the cold weather they could get more Propane in the tanks. Does this sound out of whack? With what a tank holds, I figure a lb of propane should equal 4.687ltrs and maybe a slight adjustment for the cold. On their ticket is says correction 17 degrees. Therefore, I feel overcharged for about 40 ltrs. Am I wrong?

I need advise, front rooms I painted Yellow, I wouldn't mind painting the rest of the house yellow, but wanted to see if anyone had any other opinions on what color. Most of my furniture is wood, oak cabinets and black appliances.

I just had a nice winter month with 200 gallons of LP spent. I am concerned the installers did not properly install the plank. We removed the old LP/GP composite planking. Underneath, there was no sheathing. The original homebuilder just nailed the LP plank directly to the vertical 2/4's or 2/6's. There was a small insulating panel that appeared to be installed from the interior of the home. Sort of odd. Well the condition after they removed the siding was simply vertical studs then about 3 inches of space then the insulation.

The contractor simply put the Tyvek wrap on the studs and nailed the hardi without sheathing or insulation. Is this a nonstandard procedure?? I wish I had been onsite or had the knowledge that this condition existed before I signed the contract. I would have gladly signed a change order if I was informed we could have improved the efficiency. I can feel a significant amount of Air through baseboard and vents and basically any hole in the wall. I hav

I have a furnance and a water softner right next to each other and one of them is leaking. I wipe the floor dry and it pointed out to the water softner. I had the water softner lifted and place an aluminum pan on the bottom, but for some reason the floor is still getting wet. I don't know what to do now

A recent house extension, meant we had a new condenser boiler fitted - a Glowworm Flexicom 18Hx. It has generally done the job but produces what seems like very large quantities of water droplets from the flue, which drips down the brickwork below In the 3-4 mths since its been operational this has already begun to run the brickwork green.

Now in the colder weather, there's a glacier down my wall and I'm worried this will cause the brick work to crack.

I've designed a water collector from a 2l Lemonade bottle with the top cut off and shaped so a collar sits under the flange around the flue and have collected approx 0.5 l in about a day.

There's generally a regular drip, but every so often, a guttural spurge of water, which probably accounts for most of the problem.
Is there something that needs tweaking to stop this ?

The smell is making my headache and is making me nauseous. Is there anything I can do quickly to get this smell out of my clothes or at least make the smell less stronger?
