I have a furnance and a water softner right next to each other and one of them is leaking. I wipe the floor dry and it pointed out to the water softner. I had the water softner lifted and place an aluminum pan on the bottom, but for some reason the floor is still getting wet. I don't know what to do now

What type of furnace do you have? A hot water boiler with radiators is the only one that might have a major leak. All other furnaces may have trace "condensate" water, not a major amount.
In which case you have a problem with your water softener connections, or overflow.
If its your boiler, you may notice noises and less heat in upper floors.
Sounds like a call to the local pro is in order in any case, before you get into some real "hot water'!

If you have a newer high efficient furnace you do get condensation from it, this is normal.

The practice is to hook a small tubing to the drain on the furnace & run it to a floor drain.

Put your softiner in bypass. If you still find water, it's not the softiner.
