Something dark has got accidentally in with my light colours. Has anyone out there in 'answer land' got a solution for me to get rid of the grey mucky colour which now adorns my smalls. Have a great Xmas

There are a few spots of what looks like paint on a sweatshirt. If it is paint, would thinner remove it? If not, what would?

I got some fingernail polish on a pair of white cotton capris pants. I tried nail polish remover, but it didn't work. I guess the polish is too soaked in to the fabric. Help!

Are there any cheaper gadgets avaliable, which can monitor electricty useage per room in a shared house, other than expensive meters from the utility provider?
Over the Winter time period, some tenants use lots more/less than others , but cannot reconcile the charges amongst themselves. How is the most equitable apportionment possible of the electricity bill?

I have a woodstove in my living room that we use to keep the house warm and even though we do add water to the tree almost daily, it still dries up pretty fast. Anyone has any ideas ?
Thanks ;-)

I just watched a Flip this House episode and I saw the CEO hire a stager to stage the home. According to the show, this helps the home sell a lot faster and stay on the market by 40% less than average. When they staged the house, they basically put in furniture and different candles to make the home show better. Has anyone tried this before? I live in California, in the high desert and I am thinking of selling my home. I currently own a 2 bed 2 bath 1099 sqaure feet and I am interested in more info on this subject.

My husband says using bath salts in the bath tub will mess up the septic system. We have a Jet aeration system with sprinklers (don't know if that matters).

I bought a used chiminea and there is fire damage (obviously) and its kinda rusty. I want to re-paint it but I don't know what type of paint to buy that's fire protective. I'm also not sure how to clean up the burned stuff and rust off that's on it. Please help, I want to prove to my boyfriend that it wasn't a bad purchase :D
HELP!

We are going to drywall the ceiling in our basement and I am wondering if I should put insulation between the floor joists or not. Is it worth the extra effort?
