Im trying to fit some new celing lights in my lounge but it appears the wiring isn't just a case of adding the brown, green/yellow and blue wires to there corresponding place - I have (I think) what is called a Loop Wiring system in place so I have 2 black wires, 3 grey wires and some others wrapped in red tape. Should I just call an electrician or is this simpler than it looks?

My pilot light is on in my boiler but when the heating is due to come on, nothing seems to happen. The radiators are cold but then will get warm randomly for about half an hour. I think that boiler isn't lighting but I'm not sure. Anybody have any ideas what the problem isd and how I may fix it?

Thanks

I've just installed a split rail fence (two posts, two horizontal rails, two slanting finish rails at each end) at the top side of a hill in front of our home, closer to the home then the property line. We plan on planting wild flowers from the fence down to the property line. My partner is conserned that the fence looks like it's in the wrong place as she feels that fences should be only used for the division of properties and potetial buyers would see it as a property line. is she right?

I am mechanically disinclined and currently broke (married), Dont even like to think abou the details peole are tellin me bout building a privacy wall for my 7 year old who really needs one for his room (right now he's got a sheet on a rope) I'd consider just about anything that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, or a degree in engineering.

We have two camelias and a rose plant that the previous owners planted in the wrong areas and also neglected them. We wish to move them to another friendlier spot. All plants are smallish but have produced some flowers after we started watering them. Will they survive a transplant???

the sheet on the inside of the roof in the loft, looks like very old sheet of paper with few tears and immediately above you can see the roof tiles. I am not sure whether it is fine or not, plus there is no leakage from the room into the loft.

Hi all.

I read somewhere that the more a threadcount is on a squared surface, the more luxurious and comfortable sheets can become. Does anyone know where I find information about sheets that have the highest known threadcount possible?

Thanks.
