all over the candle holder it is in. I mean the candle holder gets totally messed up and I have to spend an hour to clean off all the wax stuck on it now. Isn't there a candle holder that is made specially for candle sticks so that the wax melting doesn't go on the table and the table cover? It's this time of year where we put a lot of candles around the house and my floors are all wax. Help...

I am looking for new loo I saw one I liked, it was a close coupled toilet and it appeared to work in a different manner than usual.
The area that the 'waste' fell was much higher than normal and at the back there was longish drop to the 'U' bend, the salesman did not know how it worked?
I believe the water level may be higher in the loo than normal and when you flush, the water level rises slightly before dropping and removing the waste.
Is this correct,
what are the advantages,
and is this system a good flusher.
Many thanks for any help

We took ours down today, but it felt so early to take it all down. It's always a little sad when it all has to be taken down and put away isn't it?

Please help - this dragon tree was a present and I loathe throwing plants away, but it's gone all leggy (about 3 foot long and very bendy) with hardly any leaves - can I prune it?

I have added a duct to a remote room which previously had no heating or cooling. It seems to have very low air flow.

we've bought a snake and it will not go down the bathtub drain because of the way the drain is configured. There is a bar blocking access of the snake. We also have water coming out of the showerhead whenever the faucet is turned on. In the other bathroom the drain in the sink is super slow.
Is it possible to fix all this ourselves or should we just call plumber?

I have a GE dryer model dvl223eaoww. I've checked the tensioner & it moves freely w/no noise. The same for the shaft on the motor. There are no rollers for the drum to turn on, just a couple plastic clips to keep it aligned. When I turn the drum manually, it squeaks at one point in the revolution and is okay until that spot comes around again.

The guy was supposed to come back the next day to sort some piping outside. He never and now the boiler has started to leak. He keeps promising he'll be out but does turn up or return my calls. He hasn't completed the log book for the boiler either. Obviously a cowboy.
