hi
the reason it sweating is because of different temperature change.
the water is cold and the bathroom is warm.
there a way to have the water heated a little to compensate for the temperature change.
you might need assistance of a plumber to connect the hot water to the bathroom supply pipe
they have a special valve that connected to the water heater to supply warm water to the cistern

hope this help

it sounds as if you have a humidity and condensation situation going on. Gas heat emits water as a by product of the combustion if your heater is unvented. The porcelain is typically cold. If you put warm moist air together with cold procelian you get condensation.

My thoughts are reduce the gas heat; supplement with some other form of heat. And/or try a dehumidifier.
