Let's face it, you're in a sticky situation. The solution, however, is easy: Play it cool.

STEP 1: Note that the following steps work for fabric or vinyl upholstery, not leather.

STEP 2: Place an ice cube in a plastic bag.

STEP 3: Apply the ice to the gum, allowing the gum to freeze until quite hard.

STEP 4: Gently scrape away the gum with a dull knife.


Warning:

Don't attempt this method on leather upholstery.

Get an ice cube and hold it onto the chewing gum. This will make it hard so you can pick it off. Remove as much as you can then steam clean the area. Ensure that the material will withstand the heat first of course. Otherwise you could take it to a garage which has a valeting service. Another option is to phone a carpet cleaner - lots of these companies now clean car seats. Hope you succeed.

go buy a can of dry air, its very cold and when you spray it on the gum on the seat it will freeze it and you can remove it very easily without making a big mess...good luck!
