I won't go into details but my new sweater had vomit stains on it. After washing it twice, the smell still lingers - what should I do? (I believe it's a poly blend).

My Reliance Electric Hot Water Heater Model 606. When power is applied the overflow begins to run, although not as fast as when I test the valve by flipping the lever. This happens as soon as power is applied. When I remove power the overflow stops.

My downstairs toliet runs randomly. You will hear that noise like after it flushes. It doesnt actually flush, but when I hear that noise I go into the bathroom and I see that there are little trickles of water doing down the bowl. It has been doing this for about 2 months, there isnt any other problems with it flushing or anything though. This is a 2 year old townhome I bought new. The upstairs one does not do this.

Anyone know what is wrong - if anything? Thanks!

I have looked on Habitat website and they are really nice but will end up really expensive. The main thing im looking for is the bowls to be quite deep and quite big and most times you will see a square dinner set with crappy shallow bowls. Ikea also have square but im not very fussed on them and i dont want to just settle. I have tried Debenhams website but its down just now.

Has anybody tried them and are they effective? They probably do a better job than toilet paper. Right?

But the inclination for a run, encouraged by confidence in his luck, and by a draught of brandy from his pocket-pistol at the conclusion of the bargain, was not easy to overcome, especially with a horse under him that would take the fences to the admiration of the field. Dunstan, however, took one fence too many, and got his horse pierced with a hedge-stake

A fire occurred at a flea market. Apparently all the goods were exposed not only to the smoke, but also to the steam. My friend purchased a leather belt and some cloth gloves a few weeks after the fire. They were in plastic packages. When we opened them, they smelled like mildew! They look fine. How do I get rid of the smell without ruining the black leather on the belts?

I just painted my room yesterday, and I want to add stripes, using my accent colors. I'll be using tape to create the stripes. My mom says that I should wait several more days before I put tape on the walls because it might pull the new paint off, when I pull the tape off. But I'd really like to get the whole project done before the end of the week!

I have a climbing rose bush, a regular rose bush, and two rose bushes that bloom like flowers, not roses. Should I cut them down all the way, or leave them as they are?

I need a freezer but do not have the room in my kitchen. What I do have however, is sort of conservatory that in the winter is very cold and in the summer is very hot.

I have heard that you can get fridges to use in extreme temperatures, is this also true with freezers? I am looking for a medium sized chest freezer but have had no luck in finding one in the UK to use in extreme temperatures. can I just use a normal chest freezer? Are they all suitable for this kind of use?

It is six years old and in good condition with no previous moisture problems. The best idea so far is to use 1x2 pressure treated sleepers with expanded polystyrene insulation covered with 3/4 inch OSB. The 2-1/4 inch height buildup is not a problem. I am not sure what to do about a moisture or vapor barrier. How would you attach the sleepers?

I am just curious if a broken light bulb still will use electricity. If so then it is just wasting electricity.
