Depends on the size of the house, the nature of the duties, and other things that you will discuss when you:

1. Invite a qualified and bonded housecleaner (through a business or referral from a trusted friend) to your house for her opinion as to what services you might need;
2. Interview this candidate about her experience;
3. Check her references.

I have a fully carpeted three bedroom, two bath with a den. I pay $80.00 every two weeks. In addition to the normal vacuming, window cleaning, dusting and kitchen cleaning, etc., there are some factors which increased my rate (and the amount of time she spends on my home) from her standard of $60.00 and two hours for a three bedroom house:

I have two small indoor dogs who make a big mess on the carpets with their toys and chewies and they both have beds that need to be washed;

I have indoor plants and I want their leaves wiped down;

I ask that she launder the bedding, towels, throw rugs and table linens every visit.

I ask that she launder the slipcovers once a month.

I live in snow country but during the summer I ask that she include our deck as part of her work..cleaning the chair cushions and tables and sweeping the deck, etc.

I tip her generously on her birthday, her anniversary with us, and on Christmas. I also give her gifts, personal ones not having to do with cleaning or her tools, on all the rest of the holidays.

It depends on how dirty your house is and what the going rate is in your area. Remember you are hiring a person to clean your house not pick up after you. If you put everything away where it belongs it will be less. I personally pay $20 to $25 an hour.

the price range is anywhere from $15.00 an hour to up to $30.00 or more an hour, depending on where you live, I for one am a professional housekeepr and I charge $15.00 an hour. and then it depends on whether you want it deep cleaned or just surface clean. I prefer to do deep cleaning the first time around then after that it isnt so hard to do, and it won't take as long the next time.
and so it just depends on how long, how much, and how deep you want it professionally cleaned.

I don't know about that- I do however clean two day care centers on weekly basis. It takes me about four hours to clean each and I'm paid $100 weekly. They pay me cheap too. I guess it depends on where you live, but here in PA where I live, the rate is about $15- $17 hourly. Shop around for prices and/or you may find someone like me who is willing to do it a little cheaper. Good luck!

that is what i do, and it depends on the amount of time spent there. i get paid 18 an hour, and depends on the amount of time spent cleaning. it's good money and you work at your own pace...and that is inside cleaning, bathrooms, dusting vacuuming, etc. other services cost differently...like windows, gardening, hauling etc.
