I have a tree (not sure what) it has lost all its leaves and I thought it would be easier to trim in this state as I can see what I am doing. Just want to clip back branches so doesn't block so much light out.

Will it do the tree any harm at this time of year.

When I was a youngster stringing popcorn on thread as decoration for the tree was comon. Some even dyed the popcorn green and red.. Made cookies in the shape of elves and such and hung them on the tree. Do any do that now?

Every neighbourhood has one. The house that is covered in Christmas bling and lights on the roof, models in the garden, flashing strings of lights in the trees - stuff that you can see for miles (and need sunglasses when you get too close). Now some of these raise money for charity (but surely they're out of pocket by the time they've paid the electricity bill?). So are they a good idea. Or are they just a case of 'too much money, too many lights, too little taste' and a wish to upset their neighbours and lower the tone of the neighbourhood and make it look really chavvy?

Since I've put my Christmas lights up, there is a red light on my furnace thats flashes. I have to flip over the fuse in my fusebox and it goes back on. This has happened a couple of times, maybe once a week. Could my Christmas lights be overloading the circuit (are they even on the same circuit?)

We thought the problem was the pump, so we ordered a new one. Turns out, the plug on the end of the wire is still in the pump; it looks like the wire either broke or burned off right at the cap. Is this something we can fix ourselves? Heck, is it fixable at all??

None of my outlets have reset switches. My breaker box doesn't have a reset button. I've turned off my main and turned it back on... nothing has worked.

I've searched my house from top to bottom for a reset switch and I can't find anything. Please help!
