It's a front load washer with the pull out tray for the soap and whatnot. I have tried unplugging it and I have unloaded it. When I plugged it in this morning the start light is blinking and so are all of the other ones. When I push start the rinse light comes on and then they all start to blink again. I am thinking it might be the door lock because the door lock light doesn't come on when the rinse light does. This is my only Christmas present to myself and it's broken. I will get nothing else for Christmas. We live in Cleveland, GA. The GE phone # I called gave me a repair man that will show up on Tuesday and Home Depot hasn't got any repair people that can help. I paid $500 for this washer. Can anyone help me have a Merry Christmas by telling me how to get it working???? If it's a mechanical problem like a blown computer or something is broken then I have to wait because of the warrentee. But if it's a reset problem then can someone tell me how to do that it's not in the book

When building a wood soffett in the basement to hide pipes, etc.. if I use 2 X 2's, what is the best way to attach the 2 X 2 's together? Screws or Nails? And then what do I use to attach to the wood joists? Screws or nails? And what type and size. Thanks

When you stain wood trm and quarter round, should you just use stain, or a combo stain and poly, or stain first, then poly? Or does it depend on the area.

and there's some scallops on it (fungus????), moss, and white cobweb-y stuff. Do I just trash it or is it salvageable?

We are renting a flat at the moment, which has damp in the bedroom; on the wall. There is no window in the room but it has double doors that open into a room that does.

The landlord has provided us with a dehumidifier, which has made it better but its still not completely gone. The walls are still damp and there was mould on the walls, untill i wiped the walls down yesterday.

Im very worried as the plug sockets are wet!!! Also beacause the flat is quite small, i cant arrange the room so that i have nothing against the wall.

We dont really want to move out because its unlikely we will be able to be able to afford anything else. (its only £75 a week and thats not because of the damp as the lady next door pays the same and has no damp!)

I guess i need to know what we should do now...do we talk to our landlord again?....i dont know, any ideas please.

thanks. x
