My yard, particularly my backyard, is always moist. Even if there has been no rain for months. If there's a heavy rain, I have muddy marshy puddles everywhere. Step in the wrong spot and you're likely to end up with your entire leg in the ground. (That happened to me twice) I'd like to begin lanscaping, but what types of flowers and plants can I use that will survive?

The pot is for a tiny bonsai tree and it's about 1" high with a 2 1/2" diameter. So, the roots will possibly be very close to where I glued it. I have to go now, but I'll check for answers later tonight. Any help would be very appreciated. It's very important to me that this little tree flourishes when I start growing it. Thank you!!!!!

I want to remove an Illawarra Flame tree that has become a nuisance but the local council wont let me. Its about 6mtrs high & badly disfigured from previous lopping (the trunk has prev been cut in half) so its not especially healthy in addition to being in an inppropriate spot. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of it w/o having to beg the local rule nazis so I can just chainsaw it down? I want to be able to put some more approiate & less troublesome native species in instead but need to ice this tree first; copper nails? Blackberry poison? Whats best?
