Paint. They say colors can make you calm, energetic, etc. I think lavender, light pale green, pale pink, or if you want dramatic go for a bronze color in the brown family or a reddish brown, deep purple. be different and be brave and try something you would like to but are afraid to try. I bet you'll like it when you are done. Have fun.

It all depends on your taste you know, but if you want to go with something that you can change around your colours every once in a while without painting your walls all the time, then go with a neutral. Something like beige, grey. That sort of colours, anything goes with that, or else the horrid white. But if you go with white, then used colours as your trims and accents. Good luck.

Baby blue paint colour is very releaxing. Aqua is also very soothing, and if you wanted a splash of colour you could add chocolate brown with the baby blue, or a fushcia pink for the aqua. Only a few key items for these splashes of colour (i.e. cushion or two and a vase).
I love to see one major wall wallpapered in a really luxurious wallpaper, it doesn't have to be girly - you could go for a masculine print. Its very hotel chic.

whatever suits your personality....I always lean toward the yellow straw colors accented with everything from apricots, reds, plums and army greens....Some people don't want anything that cheerful but prefer a shade of green with a little gold in it....very soothing.....please don't paint the ceiling anything but white and don't use but one color on the walls....it gets too "cutsie" rather than relaxing and intriguing....

I personally don't like wall paper it is too much work when you want to redue it. I like a
'burnt orange" colour it gives a warm feeling, or a pale yellow.
