You should stick with a neutral. Anything from beige, bone, taupe, chocolate, gray, white and black would work well.

Chocolate Brown with red accents is makes a beautiful decor. The walls would be chocolate brown. Red comforter. White furniture (endtables and such) chocolate brown pillows, chocolate brown accessories such as candles in a white candle holder. just imagine! Beauty at its finest! It's not that hard to repaint either asied from what people may tell you. I had a red down comforter and did my room this way and OMG I got so many comliments every time someone saw it. Oh and a beautiful white rug (preferrably oval/circular) next to your bed where it can be seen when people walk in) Good luck. ;-)

Go with a Benjamin Moore historic color called quincy tan. Its what I used in my bedroom and I have red as well! It works beautifully!

Use a warm cream with a hint of yellow. And for the trim use a medium coral color. Then use gold and olive throw pillows on the bed and either gold or olive curtains.

Enjoy!

I would do the walls in white (I know, I know, not very exciting) and accent either one wall in either a striped wall paper that features red or a plaid, OR a wall paper border in floral with red.

Rose, with a rose border along the top of the wall.

I'd say white, cause it matches with anything, or with your red comforter, probably egg shell.
