I am very sorry to report that I doubt if you could get more than $25 for it..Because it is not worth more? No.. It is just the fact that no one is going to bother to fix it to fit their needs... People nowadays just do not bother and thus, will not pay what you think it is worth...

A lot of people are looking for alternative heating methods with fuel being so high, but time is of the essence. Certainly you can advertise locally, but I'd turn to Ebay for pricing and resale. You can sell it for local pick up only and you'd be surprised how well you may do. Several of this model have been listed but not sold on Ebay. All of them had starting prices in the $600 range. I would list it with a reserve but start the auction at $1.00 and let people bid. If you really need to get rid of it, sell it no reserve and often the item will sell higher since people have the perception of getting a deal and will become competitive in bidding. Good Luck.

You may check into local antique stores, they will give you an evaluation to let you know if it's worth anything as a rare piece? Also, museums are always looking for old-fashioned items to add to their collection. Especially if there's a working museum nearby, maybe they could use the stove for demonstration. Hope you get out of it what you're looking for! :)

Look up Craigslist.org and see if there is a list in your area. It is a place to sell anything. (Like a big-really big garage sale). If there is one in your area list it on there. You may be surprised and someone may give you what you are asking for it. It is sure worth a try. Good Luck!

You make me think it was new when you bought it. If this is true, take it back.

What? sell it for what you paid for it, or return it.
